Sveafastigheter continues to strengthen its presence in the Stockholm region through receiving land allocation for approximately 120 rental apartments in central Tullinge, Botkyrka municipality. The project will add rental apartments of varying sizes to a part of the municipality that currently mainly consists of condominiums and villas, and is interwoven with adjacent natural land.
Sveafastigheter is Sweden's largest publicly listed pure-play residential company. The development portfolio of approximately 6,400 apartments is mainly located in the Stockholm region and is now being expanded with approximately 120 apartments in central Tullinge. The land allocation is in line with the company's strategy to grow with profitable new construction projects.

It is a very attractive part of the municipality where you can reach Flemingsberg in three minutes by commuter train and Stockholm city in 22 minutes. Tullinge's housing supply consists of more then 80 percent of villas and condominiums. Sveafastigheter's project, which is being developed together with Bau architects, will add rental apartments of varying sizes with flexible floor plans of one to four rooms and kitchens to broaden the range of housing. It makes it possible for young adults to move into their first own place, for growing families with children to stay in the area and it can create moving chains within the area for older couples who want to move out of their villa and live in a modern and accessible rental apartment.
The project transforms a currently unused site into a modern, vibrant, safe and welcoming neighborhood. The architectural qualities of the houses harmonize with the surrounding buildings and natural land.
- The property is located in one of Tullinge's best locations if you want to be close to services, public transport and nature. Sveafastigheter's proposal involves new apartments that will be perfect for both young people who want to move into their first own place and older people who choose to move from a villa to an apartment, and still live centrally in Tullinge. The apartments will also make Tullinge's center even safer for residents and visitors, says Yusuf Aydin (KD), chairman of Botkyrka municipality city planning committee.
Sveafastigheter's own management organization will have a local and presentattentive management that works to strengthen security, attractiveness and the community. The location's proximity to Tullinge's vibrant center and station, as well as good cycling opportunities, provide the conditions for sustainable travel.
