Finnish technical consultancy Niemistö joins XPartners
XPartners welcomes Sähköinsinööritoimisto Oy Niemistö to the group. The company adds specialist expertise in electrical, telecommunications, security and automation systems for rail-based transport and other infrastructure, broadening the group’s offering in Finland.
Niemistö is a Helsinki-based consultancy providing design and expert services for electrical, telecommunications, security and automation systems. Its special areas include DC systems of 750 and 600 volts for tramways and metro, power supply and backup power for railways. Niemistö also has particular expertise in the design of advanced automation systems, demanding data networks and radio networks. Assignments range from needs assessment and design to expert support, supervision and commissioning during construction. Founded in 1953, Niemistö has around 20 employees and revenue of EUR 2.9 million in 2025.

Customers are primarily public sector operators in public transport, where Niemistö has held an established position for many years. Assignments cover areas such as depots, stations, tunnel technology and rail facilities, and the company also serves clients in the private sector.
