Tønder Municipality in Denmark has today announced its intention to award a public tender to Terranor A/S, a subsidiary of Terranor Group. The agreement has an estimated annual order value of DKK 46 million over four years, corresponding to approximately SEK 270 million for the full contract period. The contract is set to begin on 1 April 2026 and will run until the end of March 2030.

"The expected contract with Tønder Municipality represents an important step in our ambition to strengthen our position as one of the leading contractors in road maintenance in Denmark. It is a strategically significant order for Terranor in the municipal road maintenance market and supports our continued progress and growth" says, Ivan Pedersen, Head of Denmark at Terranor A/S.

The contract covers maintenance of roads, green areas and winter services, including cleaning and maintenance of 1,089 km of municipal roads, upkeep of 335 km of gravel roads, and winter maintenance of 265 km of roads, bike paths and pedestrian areas. It also includes maintenance of 248 hectares of green areas and grass cutting of 84 hectares on sports facilities. In accordance with customary procurement procedures, a mandatory standstill period of ten days will apply before the contract can be formally signed.
