Oslo, October 22, 2026 - Medistim ASA has published its Sustainability Report
for 2025, providing a comprehensive overview of the Group's sustainability
practices, performance and priorities.
The report has been prepared on a consolidated Group level in line with the
Basic and Comprehensive modules of EFRAG's Voluntary Sustainability Reporting
Standard for non-listed SMEs (VSME). It represents an important step in
Medistim's work to strengthen transparency, governance and systematic reporting
on sustainability matters.
During 2025, Medistim further developed its sustainability work following the
completion of a double materiality assessment in accordance with the European
Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The assessment identified six
material sustainability topics: climate change, pollution, resource use and
circular economy, workers in the value chain, consumers and end-users, and
business conduct.
Sustainability is closely connected to Medistim's core business. Through
intraoperative flow measurement and ultrasound imaging solutions for cardiac and
vascular surgery, the company aims to strengthen human health by improving
surgical quality and outcomes. This is complemented by continued focus on
product quality and patient safety, responsible business conduct, supplier due
diligence, environmental impact and the development of Medistim's people.
Medistim has initiated a strategic roadmap focused on strengthening
sustainability governance and reporting and further integrating sustainability
considerations into the company's overall strategy. Over the coming years, the
company intends to develop relevant sustainability objectives, targets and KPIs
and establish a complete greenhouse gas inventory covering Scope 1, Scope 2 and
Scope 3 emissions.
"Sustainability is increasingly becoming an integrated part of how we develop
Medistim for the long term. With this report, we have established a more
structured and transparent baseline for our sustainability performance. It gives
us a stronger foundation for setting priorities, measuring progress and
continuing to develop our sustainability work in the years ahead," says Kari
Krogstad, CEO of Medistim ASA.
