Veidekke has been awarded a contract by the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency
(Forsvarsbygg) to construct a new dining and support facility at Terningmoen
Camp in Elverum.
The contract will be carried out as a design-bid-build project and is valued at
approximately NOK 311 million, excluding VAT.
"We are proud to sign this contract with the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency.
This will be an important facility for many of Norway's soldiers, and we look
forward to contributing to a successful project as part of Norway's defence
investment programme," says Hans Olav Sørlie, Executive Vice President, Building
Construction Norway at Veidekke.
Håvard Hagen, District Manager for Veidekke Bygg Innlandet, is pleased to
commence work at Terningmoen Camp.
"This is an important project for Veidekke Innlandet. We are very pleased to
once again have the opportunity to build for the Norwegian Defence Estates
Agency in the region, and we look forward to a strong collaboration with the
client and our project partners. We will contribute local expertise, execution
capability and experience to a project that is significant for the increased
investment in Norway's Armed Forces," says Håvard Hagen.
Construction work will commence in November, and the project is scheduled for
completion in October 2028.
The contract will be included in Veidekke's order backlog for the fourth quarter
