WeSports has completed the acquisition of Backpackinglight, the leading Nordic community and destination for helping hikers and adventurers to a true lightweight outdoor experience.

Backpackinglight was started in 2008 and is run out of Umeå, Sweden which is also where the development of the company's own brand Sarek Gear takes place. Further to this, the company offers a broad range of carefully selected brands on the destination backpackinglight.se together with its own blog ultralightandcomfortable.com for lightweight hiking.

The company will continue to be run independently by the entrepreneurs, now with the support of WeSports.
