WeSports has completed the acquisition of Biketown Sverige AB (“Biketown”), a fast growing bike and mobility e-commerce company in Sweden.
Biketown sells bikes and mobility products under the online destinations biketown.se and biketownmotor.se. Through the acquisition, WeSports further strengthens its position as the largest online player within these categories in the Sweden.
Biketown has shown an average annual growth (CAGR) of 40 percent over the past three years and had sales just shy of SEK 110 million in 2020. The company will be consolidated within WeSports from 1 Dec 2020.
